About the Presenter: Shawn Redford

For more than 25 years, Shawn has been fortunate to have experienced many facets of the financial services industry ranging from personal and commercial banking and lending, to investment and insurance planning. Shawn is an honours Commerce graduate of McMaster University, where he majored in Finance and minored in Economics before starting his career with one of Canada’s largest banking institutions. While working as an independent advisor, Shawn developed a unique financial planning process that helped him to become one of the top representatives in the country, with what was then Canada’s largest MGA. So, he appreciates the challenges you face every day. In his role at SSQ Insurance, Shawn is the Senior Director-Business Development, covering the southwestern region of Ontario. He’s responsible for educating and providing consultative services to financial professionals…however, his passion is identifying new ways for you to grow your business.
