About the Presenter: Raphi Zaionz

Raphi earned his BBA & MBA degrees from the Schulich School of Business at York University and then began his career in trading, but has spent the last 25 years plus working in software. Raphi consulted to several large banks in matters pertaining to risk management, and to several small companies where he worked with their founders to open business doors in North America. Working with small companies gave him the entrepreneurial itch. He began researching how Canadians accumulate and decumulate wealth and decided in 2019 to found mygoals. Raphi partnered with the applied math department at York University in researching how non-linear optimization could be utilized to save and withdraw more efficiently. Raphi and his partner have hired 3 mathematicians from York University and together have developed the MyGoals platform.
